About me
With over 23 years of experience in education, Christine Schweitzer proudly represents ROE4 in her role as the Area 2 SEL Hub Specialist and School Support Specialist. In her career, Christy has served as an early childhood, elementary, and SEL teacher, a leader, advisor, and adjunct professor for preservice teachers in higher education, and a three-term school board president. She has worked on countless educational committees to inform and improve education in Illinois while providing professional development for educators and students across the state. In her free time, Christy is honored to serve her community as the board of directors president for HOPE of Ogle County.
